Are you referring to the IE8 toolbar? You can change the text and fonts in the IE 8 tools bars and I am going to give you the steps. Just be aware that changing these settings will change the menu fonts and text size for every program. There is no way to just adjust these settings in IE 8 only. To make the changes go to the Control Panel, then Appearance and Personalization, click Personalization, then click Windows Colors and Appearance. In the Appearance Settings window click on the Advanced button. Open the drop down menu under Item and select Menu. You can choose the font, font size, and color that best suits you. Click ok and then click Apply. It is normal for the monitor to briefly go ?black and white? while the settings are being changed.
I hope this helps!

I see some unusual font style on IE8 status-bar running under Windows 7. Can someone please tell me what settings would allow me to change this font style?
Thanks.
