How to bypass request for sp2 disk

I am installing fresh sp3 but on the process it asks for windows xp sp2 disk to be inserted , I haven't got that disk.Is there a way of bypassing that ?

If it's a retail or OEM version of sp3 that came with a new computer it should work. So there is more to the story, I'm afraid. Can you tell that?

It's pretty advanced. Having the CD is still needed.
