how to browse or download files on cd in m/e

hi there
its probably pretty simple for some but not me i would like to know how i can extract files from my installation/recovery cd in m/e as both files are greyed i can see them i can copy them to my computer i just can t get them opened, hope that s enough info as im new to this thank you

If you had mentioned that you wanted to look inside a .CAB file I would have list these two URLs:

ty for your answer i have a windows m/e 4.90 os build 3000 amd athlon processor(tm)mmx 3d 900Mhz ms6340 chip set bios award v6.0 kt133 mother board thats to much is`nt it sorry its not that i don t know how to browse a cd or floppy but with the millennium edition cd i have tried to open the files but without success im afraid subsequently now when i lose files or dlls i have to reboot my system i hope this is more helpful than my last effort ty albat

No one can tell from your writings. Keep in mind that I did supply articles for looking inside (opening) .CAB files. Each .ZIP .CAB and such may require a different utility to open.
