No need for a bootable stick or disc.
https://www.windowscentral.com/how-change-product-key-windows-10 tells how to do it from the Settings app in your Windowds 10 home. All you need is a valid license key. Quite simple.
I have seen about 2 dozen articles, forum postings and help files that give about 70% of the steps necessary to boot a Dell Inspiron 15 5570 from the USB drive, but none of them give 95% of the steps that are needed.
I have been all over the BIOS, F2, F12 and still am missing important components of the process. A more complete process would help a lot of people, including me.
A response to the above question would be a wonderful help. An answer to the following would be gravy. How to upgrade said laptop from Win 10 Home to Win 10 Pro. As far as I know I have successfully downloaded Win 10 Pro, inserted the ei.cfg file into the ISO file, and written the contents to the thumb drive. Maybe there is a simpler way to get Pro on my laptop?
