how to backup PC,register and everything

I would like to backup my PC.I have a new WD 160g external hard drive.
I want to backup everything,system state,applications,register.Is the
program ERUNT a good program for backing up register?Can anybody give
me any advice? Thanks in advance!

I image backup my entire computer with Ghost 10 software onto a Seagate Barracuda 160GB internal removable hard drive. Once set up this is done automatically each day with incremental backups and a major image backup however often you set it to do so in Ghost 10 options.

I hope this information helps you to decide what software you may use for your system.
