how to make a backup copy of c-drive

If you want a clone of your c: drive then Google for Windows Cloning software or go here:

for a list.
If you only want a backup of your essential and valuable data, then you can use the built-in backup application in Windows.

Depending on your s/w available, you may do a:
1) clone or image
2) data only
Again, if you have the s/w and your OS used, which may provide some back-up or recovery s/w. You offered NOTHING in the details of your system, so google for anything further. You can also buy commercial s/w for this very purpose, check online pricing and requirements, etc.. You can also review and checkout the shareware versions from file websites.
