How to access all columns, under All Programs

by phdw2 / March 28, 2004 6:13 PM PST

I Have XPH ome edition. I go to Start, All Programs and Then I can not visually see all the columns because of so many software programs on the Harddrive.
How can I get to all of the columns off to the right?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, sounds like you're using the default XP menu system, I abandoned this - couldn't find anything! You could try this; right-click the Start Menu, choose Properties and click on "Classic Start Menu" radio button, then click Apply. Now click the Customize button, scroll down and clear the tick against "Scroll Programs" and add a tick to "Show Small Icons in Start Menu," click Ok twice. At least now you've got the best chance of displaying all your programs on one column and if one column isn't enough, more will be displayed to accommodate. Regards Rollo

You can change the way your programs are listed. Right click on start then properties. Select customize then the advance tab. Scroll down the list and select "scroll programs". This will change your view to a single list instead of multiple lists across the screen.
