How Tall is Tom anyway?

I'm home sick today, so I'm watching all the CES news I can find. I've seen Tom twice. He was on Headline news and Attack of the Show. Both times he towered over the guys he was with. The one guy did the car tech stuff on the TiVocast. The other guy was Kevin Perrera (sp?). Tom looks like he's at least 6'3". Congrats on all the exposure Tom!

i don't know

In reply to: How Tall is Tom anyway?

i have never seen Tom standing up... maybe he is too big to fit in the screen! hehe

we brazilians, south americans, africans, asians, europeans, and the rest of the world, use centimeters to measure heights! so 6'3'' is like random numbers for me, but i know it's higher than 1.80 meters

and miles are not a kind of measure either Silly
pounds, ounces, gallons, yards, feet!

for me,
1 feet = 30cm
1 inch = 2,5cm
1 mile = 1,6km

the rest is like random numbers for me...

Only 6'?

In reply to: I'm 18.3 decimeters.

Man those other guys must be tiny. They certainly picked the right go-to guy for their gadget work. You've been great! Relaxed yet authoritative.

C'mon Tom!

In reply to: I'm 18.3 decimeters.

Decimeters?! We usually use centimeter or meter...
Using decimeters to describe how tall you are it's like using miles. Silly

he knew...

In reply to: C'mon Tom!

he knows that the BOL audience can figure it out Happy

also, many countries use decimeters, such as canada (but not too often enough to make it a standard like meters and kilometers, but still taught in schools to know how to use decimeters)

In reply to: he knew...

we only use mm, cm, m, km
the others are explained in school, but if you go downtown of my city and start asking people, they might give you wrong answers!

like... what is the capital of USA?
New York, of course!

Time for an obscure pop cultural reference!

In reply to: How Tall is Tom anyway?

Tom is like Ultraman and can change his height depending on the size of the monsters he has to combat. I'm thinking the monsters that BOL Team (soon to be an amazing grahpic novel!) has to fight off are along the lines of Rodan and other Godzilla foes - except of course that the RIAA and DRM would be much, much uglier.
(Sorry, some of us have had too much caffeine today...)

if the baby has superbaby strength to push molly up (stretching her womb and, thus, stretching her entire body...somehow), the baby can add to molly's height making her even bigger!

giant molly (and baby), lol Happy

babies have no height!

In reply to: baby

because they can't stand up...

and i don't believe in babies with superpowers...
the youngest guy i knew who had superpowers was 11 years old, in an alley in london...
