My last HP arrive with a defect in its BIOS. I called it in and spent over 8 hours on the phone as their support remoted in to update the BIOS and reinstall the OS. They could not correct the issue. HP sent a shipping box and off it went.

Upon return the laptop would only power on for 5 minutes and die.

I thought no problem and called it in. I was told they had done all they could and that I should have bought an Envy. Over the next 6 months I called in weekly or so and never could get them to correct the failure on their repair or replace the laptop which was 3 months old when the first call was made.

It was clear that HP had no intention of setting things right and so this is my reason that my last HP was my last HP.
