Clk on Last Updated and it will set it back to correct. I don't know if it was CNET or an errant clk on my part.

hawing, I figured that if I posted the post it would go where it was supposed to go, so I did, and then I reasoned that if I hit Last Updated, I might find something, and as you note that solved everything.

Both Outlook Express which I never use, and Mozilla decided to update themselves last night while I slept. I think the re-ordering of SE was as a result of that. Now Google Chrome doesn't work.

Much gnashing of teeth and ripping of raiment. "Good raiment?" "Best I ever ripped" But it's all part of Life's Rich Pageant.

but here's where I'd clear its history and cookies. If you do this, however, you're likely to lose your auto-login if you've configured it to do so.

whenever I shut down, but I'm doing that less these days.

Auto login? what's that? No, I understand that, and don't mind, I've re-booted and cleaned everything I could clean, and freed up some disc space and odds are I'll figure it out in a day or two.
