unfortunately... one thing with buying electronics is that you will never pay the lowest price.
Having spoken with some industry product managers lately, they are forecasting the flat panel market retails drop anywhere from 40-60% in 2005. Yes, it seems like a lot and it is. Reason being is that global production capability will be increased exponentially in 2005 and demand based on current retail will only be a small fraction of that. In turn, suppliers and retailers will have to lower the retail to pump up unit sales.
So... good things are going to happen in 2005!

LCD TV prices seem to be dropping, especially the smaller ones, but what about bigger LCD TV's 30"+?
What about plasma TVs?
I'm looking to get a TV right now 30 to 40" or so, but it's not something I need to get right away, I can wait, question is, how long before we see a good price drop on them?
