Question

How much RAM can Win98 deal with??

Nov 20, 2012 6:35AM PST

Planning to upgrade from 128mb of ram. I have 3 slots available on the motherboard and the motherboard can take up to 3gb of ram. I've heard that Win98 doesn't deal with large amounts of ram, and only deals with 512mb without a problem. Is this correct? Thanks. ED.

If you have more in the PC, there's a way to tell Windows 98 to only use 512 MB. But I can't tell you from head how it should be done.
