How much memory is enough for an iMac?

Jun 7, 2008 2:34AM PDT

I'm planning to buy a refurbished 20in 2.6Ghz 1GB RAM 350GB HD iMac.

Do you think 1GB RAM is enough? if not how much is?
Do you think 350GB HD is enough? if not how much is?

I do not have any experience with Apple desktops so all of your advice is very appreciated. Thank You!

The 2.4 version will take up to 4Gb RAM. 1GB will work without to many apps open at the same time. Using video fill it up. 2GB is a nice mix for most everything else. With 2 slots that is 2 x 2GB. Get the ATI radeon HD 2600 PRO graphics card, has 256MB Memory.
