It's a stretch from what I read but was looking to see

If others could find some study about this. The only one I could find pointing how many square meters of ice lost per gallon but 6 tons sounded high until I think about well to wheels (or tailpipe.)

Obviously, not enough yet

I won't be happy till Canada can grow palm trees. This Global Warming is taking way too long for me. We should have planes fly over all those iced in areas dropping fly ash or coal dust on them to speed this process up a bit more.

Enough for the Northwest Passage to open up.

what the weather panic crowd fails to mention

Is how much new arable land is being opened up by the receding ice and that it is far greater than land areas that are becoming flooded. It also fails to account for much of the water heading toward the equatorial regions more than in the more northern and southern parts of the world. Greenland would become ice free, Antarctica would become ice free, or at least reveal more land area. We also don't know the effect the greater pressure of this water would have on the oceans as pressure would increased at the depths thereof. It's possible much of the water would press into deep underground subterranean chambers across the world, possibly even elevating some land masses above their current sea levels.
