Toshiba A75 S206-aka-
Feb 12, 2005 2:14AM PST

I love it! The wi-fi feature is awesome. It starts seeking networks the minute I turn it on. When my network was down I prepared myself for
an internetless few days. The Toshiba had other
ideas. It immediately found nearby
networks to which I could connect. My neighborhood
is friendly and cooperative so the owner of the (unsecured) network was ok with this. In a less amiable setting I might not discuss the issue with a network owner. I also would not leach off someone else's connection for more than a very short period.
This may be too little and too late as you probably have already purchased a notebook by now!

Kiran_mandalia....

Toshiba sucks, I know because I have owned several. This one that I have now just blew up yesterday and needs a 400 dollar mobo. Go with Dell or HP, stay away from the others. Trust me on this, you won't be sorry.
