Question

How i moniter my Hardware Temprature inside Windows 7

Jun 2, 2016 9:07AM PDT

I am newbie here I want to know about how do I monitor my PC hardware temperature. I run into serious trouble when my PC restarted couple of times when I play games more than an hour. I discussed with friend he told me that it could be overheating problem. If this is over heating problem then how do I monitor temperature of hardware of my PC. Or if this is not problem of overheating then what else is the issue.

Something I rarely do.

There are so many good hardware temp monitors today that I'll just share one I used yesterday as it had no malware. SPECCY.

That said why don't I measure? Because I fix such things by replacing heatsink compound, fans and such rather than measure. If it's too hot, we get that under control since it can age or kill chips and boards.

I went to google.com and typed in SPECCY. It's on the Piriform web site and it's free here. I opted out of Cleaner.

As mentioned speccy is a easy to use product.

Even non-gamers should occasionally check that area.

Just to see if something is getting a bit warm which would indicate it's time for a little maintenance.

Gamers because they work the machine hard should keep a close eye on temps.

Try SPEEDFAN

There are a number of temperature sensors already in your PC and the FREE program SPEEDFAN will display them for you along with the speed of your fans. It worked well for me in troubleshooting an overheating GPU problem.
