How fast can my phone charge with a 3A cable

I don't understand how chargers really work, i do know that volts(V) x Ampere(A)= Watts
If i charge my phone with a 3A cable (without a brick) what is the total watts ? How do i know the amount of volts

Need much more information.....

What phone make/model ? If the phone doesn't support the faster charging mode, the 3A cable won't make a difference.

The output voltage should be mentioned on the charger. The usual for charging via USB is 5V.

All the details of the watts are mention on the charger. If you pick a charger and just turn around it you will see the bar codes and the warranty cad dat naal.
