Answer
Three options.

Since all these options are elementary, wouldn't it be time for you to learn a little bit about the tools you use? Maybe try a book like "Word for dummies"?

1. Use a non-proportional font (like Courier New)
2. Use tabs
3. Use a table (without borders)

NEVER use spaces to line out things.

1. I can't, it's simply not up to meHappy
2.You mean the tab stops on the ruler? I did but to no avail (selected the text and then try to find the stop on the ruler, but then it didn't emerge?) Wonder why that is?
3.I did, the one in the screenshot is a table without any border

Kees, those three work for me.

Anything else in that document?

If not or even there is I would use Excel or a spread sheet program instead of a word processing program.

Oh, if you are using Word you can turn on

the paragraph symbols which will show you all the non-printing characters in your document including spaces. That might help. In my Word the icon is a paragraph mark like a backward P. It might be under Tools - Options.
