For example, if it is dropped from a height of two feet would it remain completely in top shape or could some minor damage be done?

I've knocked mine onto hardwood floors and they have taken the abuse well enough. For durability I like them as much as any other mouse I've used. Used to be a MicroSoft fan until MicroSoft burned me. Turns out I'd been missing out on some Great Logitech mice.
I have dropped my v320 so many times you'd think it was a ball. It has survived dozens of 3'falls to a hardwood floor and keeps on clicking I swear by it for durability. It hides scuffs well too. Although there are signs of a tough life, very little shows through.. I was anxious at first but since it survived the first couple of bounces off the floor, I have become much more relaxed about its durability
