how does this laptop look? anything else before buying?

I would like to buy a new laptop. My budget is around $2500 maximum. I want something fast and not too heavy. I will mostly use it for the internet and some resource-intensive mathematical software; I might also play games like the Sims or watch movies on it. I plan to keep it for a few years so I don't want something that will be obsolete in a month or two. I have an extremely strong preference for PC rather than Mac.

I am considering a Sony Vaio EA290X; it has a 14" screen and an initial weight of 5.2 lbs. I selected:

The right company for Bluray Disc. But I can't give it a ++

The BD fiascos don't seem to happen on Sony gear so this is the right move to get BD on the Sony.

However the EA290X I find have integrated graphics so gameplay such as The Sims will suffer.

This is not a gaming machine. It will do BD play, video play just fine but games don't appear to be on its menu.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
