How does Panasonic GS320 compare to the GS120?

Jul 14, 2007 2:33PM PDT

Hello all
I'm a newbie and am in need of a new camcorder. I have the Panasonic GS120 which we have loved, but the LCD screen recently stopped working. I now can only use the viewfinder. Not sure if this is a widespread problem or how much it would cost to fix....but I'm thinking it may be best to buy a new one.

However, after researching and reading many of the comments and reviews...it sounds like it may not be a good time to buy right now.

Anyway...I know prices have come down on the Mini DV models, but I'm concerned about how my current model (120) compares to the new 320? Is it an improved model....? I can't tell from the reviews as it sounds like there are more complaints than compliments about this model.

I would greatly appreciate any information and advice. And also would be interested in knowing if anyone else has heard of the LCD screen going kaput on the 120.

Appreciate your time.
Holly
