Why? This is going to need work. The deletion of the partition may be easy, but that Linux install controls the Dual Boot and has replaced XP's Boot.ini file with it's own.
If you can find that and revert it back to boot.ini just for XP then that's fine. But it may be more complicated and that's why I think you need better advice.

I installed an Ubuntu partition on my hard drive which was a Windows XP drive. It is now corrupted and am unable to log onto Ubuntu and I am unable to get rid of it. I DO NOT have diskettes as the computer did not have installation disks. Any ideas?
