How does Microsoft get away with it

Mar 24, 2017 5:36AM PDT

Why do my Windows products consistently get worse and worse? Do the developers at Microsoft ever test their programs on actual human beings?

And any "help" provided by Microsoft is usually totally worthless.

You would think that, with all their "updates", things would get better.

In your dreams.

It's like the phone company - they're so big that, for the consumer, what you see it what you get. Don't like it? Don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.

A Little More Specific Please... Which Product?

Since this is a computer help forum and this is your first post here, simple rants don't help much. Maybe we can assist with a specific MS product problem.

Hope this helps and let us know more.

ever before with the insiders programs. The issue with Windows versus Apple is the many differetn OEM computers that require thousands of different drivers to talk to the thousands of pieces of hardware. The best help for any computer is Google search engine.

Your next move is your choice.

Here I moved our entire office to W10 and it's never been better. Yes we are a bunch of programmers so any little thing that could upset normal folk is either fixed or google'd by us. Support? I have not called Microsoft in over a decade so I can't measure what support or help they provide today. That is, Windows is good enough we are not calling for help.

And yes, I do see all the pleas for help in the CNET Forums. Let's hear from you with a new post what the issue is with what product and let's get to work.
