How do you transfer contacts from a floppy to new phone?

We just purchased a new UTStarcom PPC6700 and the sales clerk transferred all of my contacts from my old phone to a floppy disk. The file is a .dpb file. How do I transfer this file to my new PPC6700? I'm assuming I need to get the file into Outlook but I can't figure out how to get Outlook to recognize the file. Any help would be wonderful!

Thanks!

http://www.filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=dpb (the standard reference for file extensions) isn't really helpful about .dpb files. And I'm afraid Outlook can't import them.

It seems time to study the study the manuals from both your old phone (about exporting) and your new phone (about importing) to see the possibilities. If no success, retyping might be the only way.

Maybe the sales clerk knows a way? He's supposed to be knowledgeable.

I've studied the new manual but didn't think to study the old. This is a business phone so 278 contacts is a lot to retype. Might just go back to the Alltel store and see if another clerk can help.

Thanks!
