Question

How do you move photos from my camera card onto a Galaxy.

It will recognise my USB stick, but will not reccognise the sd card.

Clarification Request
This has many issues.

I can't guess what's up here but some cards are too big or have photos too large for the stock viewer. That's why I use a PC to move them onto say my Dropbox and then sync what I like onto my Galaxy Tab 3.

If need be I'll resize them with Irfanview.

I don't think it can be size because when I put the same photos on a stick the tablet recognises them and they show up. Not that I know what to do with them then as I've never used Android before. When traveling I would just like to be able to look at my photos in a bigger format.

Then it could be the size of the card.

Is it over 32GB? What format is it?

Answer
Roundabout way

You can first move photos from camera card to PC and then transfer these photos to Galaxy. In this way, you can use many tools to help you.

Thanks for all your input. Last night I was still working on it when I suddenly realised what I had been missing on the camera interface. I can now transfer direct from my camera.
Thank you all. Now I have to learn how to get photos into folders!!!
