Question

How do you get Green Wednesday deal @ Dell?

Nov 23, 2011 2:52AM PST

Inspiron 15R 2nd Gen reduced from 688.99 to 499.99 but not that price on the Dell site.

It was advertised at $499.99, free shipping. If Dell is not going to honor what Cnet advertises, then how can I trust anything Cnet has to say about Dell? Do they even check to see if these are real deals?

The processor advertised was the 2nd generation Intel Core i5-2430M processor, Inspiron product code Q15BTX.
Not the i3. This is the laptop the link directed me to. I printed out a copy of the specs to make sure it was what I got or would have gotten if Dell hadn't done what apears to be a bait and switch.

I didn't find the link. You didn't supply the link.

No one can look into it.

Does Cnet not have a history of its own web sites? It was posted on the shopper.com on Wednesday November 23 referred to as Green Wednesday. No I did not get the link being that it was a Cnet site that went directly to Dell's web site.

No I do not.

I'm not Cnet but a moderator. There is contact information at the bottom of most pages. It's a shame no link was supplied while the site had the deal.
