how do you fix a fuzzy display?

by Gwam14 / June 5, 2004 12:52 AM PDT

I have a Samsung SCD86 and I got it off of ebay sold as is (yes I've been told that that was a bad idea!) It came with everything but just not the original box. Now, the picture is very dark and fuzzy, I can't see really anything. even in the viewfinder it is extremely fuzzy and I've cleaned the heads. The screen is really dark and you I can only see outlines if it's pointed at the light and the front door. Is there any way to fix it?

Have you tried viewing the picture on your tv??
Try checking to see if there are digital effects turned on, like sephia, mosiac, etc. Maybe that is causing it. See if you can find an option in the menu to reset camera to factory settings. Hope that helps.

I have no effects on right now. I have no idea where that feature would be and I don't think it's in there. Also, I haven't hooked up to a tv yet, I'll try that. If it doesn't work, do you think it could be the CCD is damaged?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
