PROBLEM SOLVED I THINK

I spent a year trying to get a great picture with my 65" hi-def Sony , Ok you will have one d.v.i. or h.d.mi. input on your t.v use that input from your hi-def tuner (dont use componit vidio interface cables) also if you have a nasty picture on your d.v.d. player, also use d.v.i. from your d.v.d player and buy a giffen d.v.i. switcher. My d.v.d picture was horrible so I bought a denon 2910 with d.v.i. output and a switcher and now the hi-def tuner and d.v.d player look stunning I hope this helps also I just joined this group of vidio junkies and would like to hear from you reply stewart norrie

You should have at least 2 optical audio inputs on your amp and you should have optical output on your d.v.d player , and comcast receiver , use these interfaces, Also why not get rid of comcast and get the DISH 811 system I pay $39.00 for bascic and The hi-def package and I just added VOOM for only $5.00 per month more This unit also has a digital hi-def tuner for over the air broadcasts, I thru up a cheap outside antenna and I receive 18 local digital channels 9 of which are in hi-def dobley digital 5.1 sound and I live 70 miles from San Francisco If this helps let me know stewart norrie
