How do you change the font color of desktop icons in WinXP?

How do you change the color of the desktop icon font in Windows XP, because some backgrounds look terrible with the white font.

Not all items can be adjusted in the Display Properties. For that, you research TWEAKING TOOLS and see which you want to buy.

See if the following check box makes a difference.

Right click the desktop,select Properties. Click Desktop Tab, click Customize Desktop button. Click Web Tab. Check the option Lock desktop items. Click OK,OK.
