How do you back up drivers in vista?

Aug 30, 2007 10:05AM PDT

Any ideas on how to do it?. You see my dad bought me a pc from Japan the problem is the OS is in Japanese ( Vista). I will buy a English version of Vista and attempt to reformat it to English. Now my problem is the drivers. The DVD that came with it is only a recovery DVD. Any suggestions on this one? Thanks!

Download them and save them in a folder labeled "back up drivers". Make sure you know where they are in case you ever need them.

They're pre-installed in the PC so I can't download them.

Find out the make, model and serial number of you PC and go to the manufacturer's support web site and download ALL the drivers from the same page.
