We have legacy content that we need to import into Adobe premier Pro for editing. We tried a "Black Magic DeckLink SDI" that is apparently not compatible with our Dell Optiplex 9020

Hello,
I'm not sure what you are asking, this has nothing to do with "star wars" or missile defense. We are talking about Serial Digital Interface (SDI) out from a Sony Digital Betacam deck.

If you must do this over a digital link, maybe you can have someone (a consultant) set it all up and show you it working?
