how do install the video card drivers?

i had to clean everything off my computer because had a virus when I re installed windows me the screen color is all grainy and cant change the size . my computer is a compaq MV540 . how do i install the video card drivers? are they in the windows files ? this is all new to me.
computer genuine intel intel (r) celeron tm processor 120.0mb windows me 4.90

The MV540 is a display. Not the computer or video card.

The issue here is that you need to learn about your PC. Try looking at the box the monitor (display) is plugged into.

Take that make/model and use it to find the video card drivers.

find out what kind of video card it is, go to that web site and download the driver's for it usually they have an install wizard to follow through, but you should also probably make sure your monitor drivers are installed too, if applicable.

you said it was a compaq, well hopefully when you reformatted you didnt destroy the partition that it has on the hard drive, this partition has everything in it that is for your specific computer. good-luck!
