Resolved Question

How do I view the Hard Drive on a MacAir?

Nov 7, 2011 9:02PM PST

Greetings Grin
I am a long time PC user who has just got a MacAir.
MAC OS X Lion version 10.7.2
Love the machine, but getting a bit bogged down with some of the techniques.
Browsing this and other forums, people are sometimes told to go to the HD and check certain files.
No problem...except I can find no way to access the HD and therefore system files.
"Finder" does not show anything for the HD and there is no icon on the desktop nor the "dock".
All help gratefully received Happy
Don
