How do I view laptop screen on TV

How can I view laptop video (slideshows) on my tv? I am using a Toshiba Satellite A305-S6905 with Vista.

You take a look . . .

at the video OUTPUTS on the laptop, and see if there are any matching INPUTS on the TV.

I looked and..

I see nothing on my laptop that looks like a video output.
(No s-video, etc) There is a 15 pin connector that I have no idea what it is for..?? Is that a possible video output? If so, what is it called? My tv has all the usual inputs..S-video, HDMI, component Thanks for any help.

That connector is the video output

On the model that is listed, the video output is an RGB (monitor) output port. A step-up model lists an HDMI port but not the one that was posted. If a connection to a TV is required, then some form of converter will be needed, depending on the TV. Some of the newer Digital TV's have provisions for a computer input.
