Answer
Same way you backup your stuff.

As backups and restores are not optional today, your backup and restore plan comes in real handy.

If you don't do this, you can google your question to see how many others tackle this. There is no wrong answer here. Just too many for me to list.

The usual way is to restore it from your backup. Since you should backup everything you find important, this covers all that's relevant.

Other options:
- via the cloud
- via your home network
- via an external hard disk
- via USB-sticks
- by mounting the hard disk of the old computer in the new one

Probably the easiest, least costly....

....is to toss the old drive into the new computer and move the data over directly from one drive to the other.

If you don't want to muck around with the innards of the machines get a usb flash stick/drive.

A 64GB stick is about $20.

Plug the stick into the old machine and copy out "your stuff".

Plug the stick into the new machine and copy in "your stuff".

Keep in mind things like programs normally will not move they must be reinstalled.
