Then open Paint. Click Edit, Paste. Voila. Save it in the format you want, and where you want.

You can also download FastStone Capture software which allows you to select areas of the screen to save, and also lets you send that direct to your printer or save the file to a folder.

Print Screen Key for the whole screen


OR

Alt + Print Screen for a picture of the Active Open window

OR

Windows Key + Print Screen in Windows 8 will save directly to a File called Screenshots

OR

In Vista, 7 & 8, you can use the Snipping Tool. A very hand piece of software that allows you to choose exactly what you capture. Not available in XP or any of the Home or Basic versions of Vista, 7 or 8

A really GREAT method (and it's free) is to download the Add-on 'FireShot' into either Firefox or Chrome. This is the simplest and most efficient (5-star) screen printing facility I have ever used. Check it out guys.....

To take a screenshot (PC version)...

Press CTRL + ALT + PRT SCRN keys simultaneously (yes, that's 3 keys). Or, on my Samsung Series 7, it's CTRL + FN + PRT SCRN. The shortcut for pasting this into a Word document is to press CTRL + V simultaneously. You can then edit the image as a picture (Picture Tools).
