How Do I Take A Snapshot Of Various Pages On My Website?

Hello,
I need to take snapshots of certain pages from my website. I will not be continuing with my current web "designer," but want some snapshots to show to whomever I hire as the new designer. Does anyone know how I can do this and save it to my hard drive? THANKS.

The best thing to be would be the full source of the web-page, in my opinion, and of course all the pictures and javascripts on it. If you paid for it, depending on the contract you and your web designer had, you might have a legal right to get them.

Otherwise or in addition, use screen prints. For each screen, press PrintScreen-key (depending on the keyboard, it might be necessary to use shift also). Use Paint to get the image from the clipboard (edit-paste, or control-V) and save it to a file as a bitmap.

Hope this helps.

If you are using your Windows Internet Explorer as your browser, you can go right away to your "FILE" menu (the Top Left one on your screen) and select Save As ... , then give it a new file name. The page will be saved to your select folder with the name given. When you want to show it to your new designer, just use the IE again and open the file (off line browsing)
