How do I setup folder view?

I want to be able to browse every file on my windows 7 laptop, even protected, hidden system files. Thank you!

That's a setting in folder options. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-hk/windows7/change-folder-options tells all you need to know. it's not really different from what it was in Windows XP, so I should havr assumed that after 14 years everybody knows. Apparently, I'm wrong.

Just last week I booted up Linux Mint 17 and was doing this!
