click on start
click on run
type cmd and hit enter
type ipconfig /all and hit enter(there is a space after the g and before the/)
look for the default gateway
type that address in Internet Explorer and hit enter
log in to your router
look for the WPA personal security
enter your password
click on save or apply
you now have security.
You now need to restart your laptop
view wireless connections
click on your router(if you router tries to connect it may ask you for a password, if not it will ask you to troubleshoot)disconnect.
You'll have to change the profile. You may need to delete the profile for the old connection. Then try to connect to the new router.
