Question

How do I run apple tv in a place with no internet?

Oct 5, 2013 8:33AM PDT

Right. So, I want to run powerpoints on Keynote from my iPad at my church. And I want to do it wirelessly. I know I need an Apple TV to connect to the projector, but how do I create the network for it to connect to my ipad? I guess I need some kind of router, but I have no internet at church, and no phone line. Do I to connect to a phone socket of I don't internet?

Please help me out if you can, but be aware I have only a slightly over amatuer knowledge of networking.

You don't need internet connection. You can use a wireless router to set a network not internet as usually you use at home or office.
Bring you old router to classroom, link it to Apple TV, enter the wep password in your Apple TV & in your iPad.
Or, if you did already this connection at home, do the same procedure in you classroom.
Blessings.
