Did you resolve your BIOS password?

dag6969 -

I was just wondering if you got your BIOS password reset and if so, how? I bought a used CF-29 and am in the same boat. Would appreciate your advice - I had hoped to just reformat the hard drive, but can't seem to boot from the recovery CD without the BIOS password - a vicious cycle - though I DO Appreciate the security!

Also am wondering if anyone has used this company?

Thanks for any and all help!

Tried such and it's too old to work on this model.

Call up a local staples or the service center to see the going rates.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
