Question

How do I reset downloading dates on a new computer?

I bought a new computer and installed the Canon software that came with my PowerShot SD780 IS Digital ELPH camera. When I attempt to download the photos from the camera; it treats them like they were all taken on the same day (today) and puts them in single folder with today's date. Even after I downloaded the photos, it doesnt' give me the option to download only new photos.

Software Update

Thanks for the recommendation. I'd gotten so used to auto SW updates I didn't realize this SW was so out of date. That said, I've still got an issue with downloading. I have submitted my request through the Canon website so hopefully they'll provide an answer.

Thanks for the recommendation regarding the photography software forum...I'll give that a try also.
