Question

How do I remove a program not in my uninstall opt in foregn?

Mar 28, 2016 9:10AM PDT

Hi all IV manages to install an antivirus in Chinese it Japanese and it's not a virus. I can't understand it and I can't find it anywhere in my uninstall programs. I have Windows 10 and cannot activate defender either? IV just added avast to get rid of a load of pop ups and viruses this is all that's left. Gutted as I just had my laptop cleaned and fixed as brand new. Nothing was in it,
Any help will be very much appreciated

What is "IV"?

Is that the name of the rogue app?

OK, there are ways to manually remove apps but nothing changed from say Windows XP to today as to manual removal. I use the same tools and research (google) if I don't see an item I find in startup areas (I use AUTORUNS) and the usual delete the app I want gone home folder.

Your post has this "IV" in it so is that the bad app or a typo?
