Question

How do I recover my suspendedI am netscape.net email account

Jun 29, 2016 12:44PM PDT

I am using the W10 operating system upgraded from 8.1 nine months ago and Firefox as a browser.
My long time email is ...@netscape.net and was viewed almost daily until a couple of days ago when I was told access was suspended due to unusual activity and that I should change the password.
Regrettably I was not allowed to do this because Spanish phone numbers only have 9, not 10, digits and according to AOL are not SMS enabled. I am also unsure whether our area code is a problem as the format is unlike that used in the US.
I have tried many times now to change the password but always meet the same problem of not having a 10 digit phone number.
I opened a new account with AOL, (......@aol.com), and tried to register with cnet but was unable to do this for some reason and have to send this plea for help and advice in my original email name.
I would be most grateful if there is any member who can help me back into my netscape.net email and sends the advice to my aol.com address.

Netscape.net emails were decommissioned around 8 years ago unless you are logging in to your mailbox every x months (I do not know exact inactivity period). You can contact AOL support and to ask them to restore your email address.
