Question

how do I recover factory installed OS on Lenovo K series 210

Jan 24, 2012 7:14AM PST

my Dad gave me his Lenovo K series 210 desktop computer. To ensure all "residual" files were gone he wiped, and reformatted the hard drive (his words). When he originally purchased it Windows Vista w/sp1 was factory installed. He eventually purchased the upgrade to Windows 7. He DID NOT bring me the Lenovo keyboard that came with the tower which has a special "one touch" system rescue key on it. I am wondering how to go about recovering the factory installed OS? Is this possible without the actual physical disk?

You may want to contact Lenovo and ask them for instructions or for a replacement set of Restore Disks.
