It's just harder to remove than others.
But why not boot some USB STICK with Linux on it? LINKS ONLY.
I have an Asus Eee PC Netbook. I was having trouble with the Netbook time/date changing for some reason. Thought I had fixed it. Than the screen went crazy. Looked like some kind of electrical interference, static lines going up and down the screen. I powered down and went to re-start.
Now the Netbook won't re-start. When I power-on it goes to initial screen with F2 and TAB options. Then goes to screen to Launch Startup Recover Repair. I have run that several times and it is unable to repair what is wrong. I have attempted to go to a previous System restore points and none if the previous ones work.
I figure I need to re-load Windows 7. I have the disc to do that, but I need to get data off the hard drive first. I have done all the system recovery options and still no luck.
Thus my question. The Netbook does not have a removable Harddrive like a normal laptop, so getting a hard drive enclosure isn't an option. How can I recover the data I want, it is on the desktop, before I re-format with the Windows 7 CD?
I would really appreciate any and all help. there are pictures of family vacation that I really need off the hard drive.
Thanks in advance
