I wanted to know if there is a way to make my Sony DCR-HC90 work as a webcam. Do I need any special software? Thanks...Nicole

The documentation was not a lot of help, but with some experimentation, I discovered the following settings:
1) Place the camera in "Tape"
2) MENU -> STANDARD SET -> USB CAMERA
3) Set to "USB STREAM"
The real-time image will stream through the Sony USB driver. I am able to stream it out using Windows Messenger and to capture it in Roxio Easy Media 7.5 (it also shows up in the Sony video capture application included with the camera)
Hope this helps
