I noticed that DLink has upgraded to 1.11. Would that affect the wired connections as well, or just the wireless? I'm asking because I have no wireless connections.

somewhere in the routers setup page. D-Link does update regularly, so it's likely an out-of-the-box unit will need an upgrade.
