How do I install the driver for the TCP/IP card?

Lightning wiped the TCP/IP card driver on the computer directly connected to the router. The wireless connection is fine. Can I download a driver file, save it on a portable USB and load it to the needy desktop?

Are you sure that lightning wiped the card driver?

it is much more likely that lightning killed the card itself and the driver, which is located on your hard drive is perfectly fine.

That is your network adapter card.

Is this a known manufacturer computer, eg Dell, HP etc?

If so, I would head over to the manufacturer's web site, input your model number, and look for drivers.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
