How do I identify a fake Galaxy k zoom

by Cudas / October 11, 2014 12:31 AM PDT

Greetings from Germany, dear cnet-people Happy

I'd like to purchase a Samsung Galaxy k zoom from a private person. According to its advert it should be in an original package.
Now, I'm a bit afraid of buying a fake phone.
So, are there ways to check if it's fake or not?

I'll be thankful for any advice.

Since it's a private sale, unlikely to be in original pack

You can use Google to find prior answers but the original packaging is likely long gone.

Serial number underneath battery

Knowing that, along with a quick call to Samsung Germany could help boost confidence regarding such a transaction between private parties. YMMV.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
